Celtic Bridge on Comhaltas hosted online by Dún Uladh Cultural Heritage Centre, the Ulster regional centre for Comhaltas, a weekly established programme of Irish traditional & folk music and song, Celtic Bridge ‘the voice of Ulster’ bringing listeners the music, artists and places throughout the ancient province of Ulster and it’s Celtic links across the waters. This brand new initiative between Celtic Bridge and Comhaltas will include albums, outside broadcast recordings, studio guests and archival material, and a weekly events listing of all things folk and trad. Ulster Traditional Singers 10th Anniversary & Fleadh Uladh Preview

Celtic Bridge on Comhaltas travels to The Ulster Traditional Singers' 10th Anniversary weekend at An Creagán in County Tyrone, bringing you the singing recital from stalwarts in Ulster Traditional Singing, the recipients from the past 9 years, either themselves or representing others, the names of recipients are the late Patsy Quinn, Alish & Roseleen Hanna, Goretti Molloy, Mairead Walls, Frances Rodgers, Rita Gallagher, the late Mick Quinn who was represented by his son and daughter Micheál & Kate, Roseleen Campbell who was unable to attend, & Doimnic Kelly. This is a special recording of the singers on song, my thanks to Tommy Dunne for the warm welcome to Celtic Bridge on Comhaltas to record this traditional singing gem. We'll also be including tracks from Ards Comhaltas' album 'Day We Went to Bangor' & bring you a detailed run down of Fleadh Uladh & other events. So bígí Linn.
