Macalla na hÉireann CCÉ Concert Tour of Ireland 2017

We are delighted to welcome the Comhaltas Concert Tour of Ireland back to Dún Uladh on Wednesday 11th October @ 8.30pm.

Macalla na hÉireann, the Comhaltas Concert Tour of Ireland will cover 14 venues from the 8th to the 21st October. The annual Tour features the best of traditional talent drawn from all four Provinces of Ireland. Macalla na hÉireann brings over two hours of the best of traditional entertainment to a wide range of venues and a wider range of audiences. These concerts illustrate the scope of the various traditional art forms- all aspects of solo and group virtuoso instrumental music, songs and traditional ballads, various forms of traditional dancing and the art of storytelling and recitation.

We will have a few familiar faces on stage - our own Summer Seisiún member Ryan Hackett and Fermanagh's John Mccann. We wish them both the very best of luck!
