Dún Uladh is extremely excited to welcome Daoiri for his debut concert this October. Daoiri Farrell is a singer and bouzouki player who was not only inspired by but spotted by the legendary Christy Moore. The All-Ireland singing champion is born and raised in Dublin, and having studied in the University of limerick, he has been hailed as “One of the most important singers to come out of Ireland”. Daoiri released a highly anticipated album called, “True Born Irishman” which has enabled Daoiri to travel with his music all over the world in Australia, Canada, Belgium and Denmark to name a few. The press have described Daoiri as “a first-rate singer” claiming his album, “True Born Irishman is definitely one of the year’s most outstanding Irish music albums”. The follow up to “True Born Irishman” is due to be released in Autumn 2018 – just in time for his debut at Dún Uladh.
